We enjoy exploring new ways to worship and to share our knowledge and ideas with each other and others. We work with other schools to explore our Christian Values and share fellowship together.

We undertake a Lent Project in school each year, which allows us to explore some aspects of our faith in greater depth.  In 2024, we were lucky enough to be invited to Blackburn Cathedral to see the 'Threads Through Creation', a spectacular exhibition touring cathedrals all over the country. Twelve huge silk panels retell the story of Creation from the first pages of the bible. They are a personal response of the artist, Jacqui Parkinson, to this most amazing story!  Year 5 visited the exhibition and then worked with classes across school to recreate the panels of the days of creation.  These were exhibited in the school hall for the summer term, and parents were invited in to view them.  Here is the link to view the panels created by Jacqui:

For our Lent Project in 2021, we created our own set of Stations of the Cross in our playground, and we were able to discuss the reflections for each station with our friends, teachers and parents. We put these up again in 2022 during Lent too.

We attend Diocesan Pupil conferences and Local Church School Cluster conferences. Over the years, we have explored our Christian values,  by working together with children from other schools on a variety of themes.  One of the more recent conferences enabled us to share some time with the Knife Angel.

We have a special project each year to explore Remembrance Day and Friendship Day, where we come to school dressed in the colour orange and we remind ourselves to use our hashtag #justbenice.
